Tell us about your experience at Along Came Eve: I came to Along Came Eve to choose my dress in October 2021 with a very strong desire to try on Delancey Elysee gown and after trying on a couple of others just to be sure - Delancey was THE dress for me. The girls were really helpful and even helped me pick out a tiara to suit my final look. My mum flew over from Canada the following month and the girls at Along Came Eve fit us in so my mum could see me in the dress in person and it was a lovely day! All alterations were done in-store too and the process was super easy.

Tell us about your wedding!: Well we actually had two! Our first Wedding Day took place in September 2022 at All Saints Church in Marthall just outside Knutsford which was actually the church both my husbands and my parents got married at. Our reception then took place down the road at Tatton Park where guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails on the Italian Terrace in the Gardens while Stewart and I took pictures. I lived in Canada for 15 years so some of the guests, both family and friends, had flown in for the occasion which was really special. The meal and the evening celebrations took place in the historical Tenants Hall and during the speeches my parents surprised us and had put together a compilation of congratulation messages from friends and family abroad that couldn’t make it to the big day. There was lots of tears and lots of laughs and we couldn’t have asked for a better day! That brings me to wedding number two, or as we call it - the We Do Part Two - which took place in Canada in June 2023 at my parents acreage. My parents organised the whole thing from the Blessing at the local rural church to the hog roast meal at the marquee reception afterwards. We had our own Alberta wine made for the event which was on each table in the marquee and Entertainment in the evening consisted of a mechanical bull in the Garden! Both days were incredible and being able to celebrate twice (and wear my gorgeous dress!) was truly magical!
