"Wonderful experience and went home with a dress. Becca messaged me a couple of days before my appointment to see what kind of styles of dresses I was interested in and I mentioned there was a particular dress I had my eyes in and knowing they were a stockist was why I had booked an appointment with them. She suggested I also try in a similar style by the same designer and brought both dresses over from the outlet store for me to try on. Glad she did as the one she suggested ended up being the dress I've come home with."

"Would 100% recommend Along Came Eve - I got my wedding dress and veil from them and had a great experience! They are a small family lead team but really go above and beyond to stay on top of communication and have your dress perfect for you on the day. I was completely obsessed with my dress and felt like a real life fairy princess - the majority of comments on the day were in awe of the dress ☺️ they made me feel super comfortable at every try on and fitting and were very welcoming to my friends and family too! They steam and package up the dress perfectly the week of wedding so there was nothing for me to do apart from wear it on the day!"

I was a bit nervous about going as I had no idea where to start when it came to getting a wedding dress. As soon as we got there Alice made us all feel so welcome and I couldn’t have asked for a better stylist. The nerves went straight away, Alice took us through all the different styles etc and when trying on the dresses she was amazing at explaining all the details etc about the dress.

Alice made me feel comfortable and amazing in each dress! I didn’t think I’d fine the one but I did and I am so happy! All the other staff that we met were amazing as well.

"Very late on this review! Got married in October 2023 and the girls and Along Came Eve were amazing and super helpful on my last minute alterations. I needed my dress quickly and altered quickly and I believe the lady who does the alterations even came in on her days off to fit my busy schedule which I’m truly grateful for!!

"Wow, what can I say - what an amazing experience choosing my wedding dress here last weekend. Alice was amazing from start to finish and made me feel like a real life princess.

Nothing was too much for her and she was on hand to answer any of my /questions/queries/hopes/dreams and she really tailored the whole experience having listened to my vision and inspiration - the whole day was tailored to what I wanted and was extremely personable - even little details like having my name on their welcome sign.

The dresses were absolutely stunning with styles to suit everybody. My Mum said I won the lottery that day having Alice as my personal stylist - I would have to agree it was incredible to have her as part of such a special day and I cannot recommend Along Came Eve enough. I am so excited to pick my wedding dress up soon!

"Along Came Eve was truly spectacular in not only providing a special experience when choosing the dress but also their impeccable after sales services and tailoring. I live abroad and had some difficult scheduling issues to deal with but the team were beyond accommodating and always went above and beyond to make this process so incredibly easy and just truly an enjoyable experience.
Alice who helped with my initial appointment, instantly made me feel comfortable, understood and was instrumental in not only finding my dream dress but also a second look and veil. The fitting room was also big enough to accommodate my large group and little snacks and prosecco really topped off the best day.
Moira completed all the alterations on my dress and she is truly an expert. My ceremony dress fits perfectly after only one fitting and its tailored to not only fit well but also personalised to make the dress emphasize the best features of my body. I'm super impressed!
Kendal was an absolute gem when it came to scheduling. There were last minute issues with my fitting time due to flight timing issues and Kendal was right there to make sure everything worked out. To top it off the dress was packed beautifully and comes in a small carry-on sized box which is perfect for travelling and destination weddings etc.
Now I look at my dress and think of all the wonderful ladies involved in bringing it all together and I can't thank them enough!"

"Such a wonderful experience ! I'm late writing my review, I went to Along Came Eve in July 2025 during one of those unbearably hot days and even through the heat wave I had the best experience. They are kind and considerate and make the day so special.
I tired on multiple different styles and was guided through the experience expertly.
I was feeling a little nervous to begin with but soon my fears where put to rest and I was enjoying the experience so much.
They have no many gorgeous dresses and they make you feel so special.
I was asked what I liked and didn't like about the dresses I tried on, and given helpful feedback and in the end had the perfect dress pulled for me and said yes to the dress!

"Exactly what I had hoped for as a bride! Along Came Eve (Kendal) was my 4th shop to visit (Shrewsbury and Wrexham my first 3) - I was feeling a bit deflated and resigned (as a plus size bride).

We were given a very warm welcome and chat to begin with - I finally felt like someone was interested in my day (because let's be honest ladies, we've all dreamed of our wedding day and it is not cheap either). Kendal then went through all of the designers with us, and offered us drinks before giving us 10 minutes to choose some dresses to try on. My main question had been - where are the plus sizes - Kendal quickly reassured me to look beyond the sizing, yes, obviously I won't fit into a size 6... but do pick dresses I want to try.

Perhaps that doesn't sound like much, but I went to one place where I was asked to pick dresses just as I walked into the shop - no time to nosy at each one properly..!!

We were then taken to a private room to try the dresses on. Kendal was chatty and friendly the whole time, squeezing me into and out of dresses, offering advice on fit, options and felt genuine when she said a dress did, or did not, suit me. That's what I want, I'm not the professional here!

Long story short, I went off to my next appointments but Kendal had given me her number if I wanted to come back and try the dress back on - which I did, and purchased with some agreement on alternations.

The whole experience so far has been amazing, and I would highly recommend. There is extensive choice of dresses to suit everyone, and I'm only sad that I'm not getting married more than once to get some other dresses in!

I can't wait to try the dress on in July for the first fitting!"
